Hi! My name is Rocío.
I am an artist, photographer and architect; I am adventurous, creative and I like to live and share experiences.
I am Argentine and I lived in Buenos Aires for almost 31 years until I decided to come to Spain at the end of 2019. I have Spanish roots, as my father was born here and I think it is a good starting point for this new era.
I consider this challenge as one more part of my path to open myself to the world, to explore it, discover it and feel it.
Shall I tell you a little more about myself?
A window to the past
Since I was a child I have always been a curious girl who likes to try and discover new things. Appreciate the world around me from the perception of the senses and rediscover it with each interaction.
Textures, aromas, sounds, colors, lights; everything is an invitation to feel.
I decided to study architecture because I was looking to design and create new spaces that could be integrative and empowering. Spaces where people feel happy and sheltered, but at the same time motivated. Spaces that could be explored and lived.
Then I discovered my passion for photography and allowed myself to explore it from a creative approach with teachers from various areas. I took courses, workshops and then finally the career of Professional Photography. I investigated from modern studio techniques to experimental techniques of analog photography and manual laboratory.
In addition, I worked for more than 10 years in the family business creating fragrances and flavors . My grandfather is a Perfumer and Creative in the Art of designing olfactory notes and chords to convey all kinds of sensations and emotions and I learned a lot from his hand; along with my brother Lautaro who followed his path, and from whom I continue to learn.
Curiosity and creativity have always been my allies.
My personal challenge?
Explore the senses and the world from different perspectives. Architecture, design, creativity, photography, experimentation, art, spatiality.
Achieving discovery and discovering myself, generating spaces that are lived from the heart and with passion, creating pieces from desire ; with a strong connection with my interior and the environment.
And share, be it my knowledge, my art or creativity; stimulate and awaken creative souls.
What inspires me?
I am inspired by music, cinema, art, meeting new people, places, food and everything that I can playfully discover through my senses.
Also, being in contact with nature and renewing my energies. Find in her calm, power and lose myself in her unique beauty.
Today I am lucky to live in front of the sea and be able to see it every day, connect with its strength and learn from it.
Traveling is something that I am passionate about and I feel that it nourishes, inspires and activates me. Always in search of new experiences , discover places, customs, and interact with other people, because that is what invites us to discover new worlds.
What is my proposal / purpose?
Connect with desire and explore it, offer myself to feel , experience the sensoriality and the emotions it generates.
Achieve the deepest connection and expression of being and feeling.
First in me, so that later I can share it and empower other people to connect with their creative center .
